The boxes below describe the typical steps for engaging with me and approximate timelines, but please don't be shy if you have any questions.
Exploratory meeting [15-45 min]
We learn about each other, ask/answer questions, assess mutual compatibility, and explore capacities in which we could work together.
Due diligence meeting [1-3 hrs]
We discuss your goals and their feasibility in the context of your assets and risk profile. Note: We ask that you provide us with relevant statements and documents in advance.
Proposal [1-2 weeks]
We conduct our due diligence, determine the primary ingredients for your financial plan, and put together a proposal. This document will describe our recommended strategy for achieving your goals, our role in the process, and our fees.
Discussion [30-60 min]
We meet to go over our proposal (provided to you in advance) and answer any questions you might have. You may decide to engage during this meeting or take some time to deliberate.
We are delighted and honored when people choose to work with us. We both sign an advisory agreement and then we get started.
Execution [2-4 weeks]
We remove as much of the administrative burden as we can for setting up accounts, asset transfers, etc. So clients typically end up with a handful of digital or wet signatures. Then we start executing your financial plan.
